Operation Santa: Delivering Hope and Joy

This holiday season, Richstone’s Operation Santa brought meaningful relief and joy to families across our community. With 85 families nominated and 100% successfully matched, the program supported 372 individuals thanks to the generosity of donors from schools, businesses, community groups, and individuals.
Support came from Pacific Elementary and Mira Costa High School, along with partners such as Fox Corporation, Girl Scout Troop 17275, Griffin Capital Company, Local Anchor, National League of Young Men South Bay Chapter, Peakstone Realty Trust, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, PromoShop, Sandpipers, Soroptimist International of South Bay, Strand Hill, and The Wellness Collective.
Families received thoughtfully personalized gifts, including clothing, toys, household essentials, and gift cards, many of which met urgent needs during a difficult year. Parents shared their gratitude for being able to gift their children a joyful Christmas and create meaningful memories together. Because of our donors, volunteers, and partners, Operation Santa served as a powerful reminder of the compassion that exists within their community. Thank you for helping families end the year feeling supported and seen.
Breakfast with Santa: A Morning of Holiday Magic
On Saturday, December 13, Richstone hosted its annual Breakfast with Santa, bringing Christmas spirit to 120 families. Children and caregivers gathered for a joyful morning filled with laughter, creativity, and connection.
Thanks to Strand Hill, families enjoyed a festive hot breakfast of French toast sticks, sausage patties, and orange juice before diving into holiday fun. Children’s faces lit up as they met Santa and picked out their favorite stuffed animal to take home. The center buzzed with excitement as families created keepsakes, shared smiles, and embraced the joy of simply being together. Children decorated cookies, wrote letters to Santa, and crafted sparkling snowflakes.
This special event was made possible by the incredible generosity of our community partners, including NCL MB/HB, NCL PV, NCL Pier, PAT, and Amigos Unidos, along with dedicated volunteers Claudia V., Jordan Holtmeier, the Ramirez Family, and the Sheu Family. Because of this collective support, families were able to enjoy a moment of peace, celebration, and togetherness during the busy holiday season. Breakfast with Santa was a reminder of the power of community and the joy that comes from showing up for one another.

Holiday Cheer Grows on Trees at Richstone
Thanks to the generosity of the Mira Costa High School Baseball Boosters and their incredible community of supporters, the holiday season was a little brighter for families at Richstone Family Center. Through their Christmas tree donation effort, families were gifted a symbol of warmth, tradition, and joy during a special time of year.
In total, 175 Christmas trees were distributed to Richstone families, helping create moments of celebration and togetherness that might not have been possible otherwise. We are deeply grateful to the Mira Costa Baseball Boosters for turning community spirit into meaningful holiday memories for so many families.
