Record Turnout for 21st Annual Pier-to-Pier Walkathon
The Richstone Family Center 21st Annual Pier-To-Pier Walkathon reached
a new milestone on April 26 as over 1,400 participants—including
a record 81 teams representing local businesses, schools, organizations
and families—walked from Manhattan Beach Pier to Hermosa Beach
Pier and back to support Richstone’s mission to prevent and
treat child abuse.
The event raised an incredible $195,000 for our critical programs
and services, and heightened community awareness of the need to protect
children from abuse and neglect during National Child Abuse Prevention
Month.
Special thanks to event Chair Sherry Kramer and the Walkathon Committee
for their outstanding dedication and effort in making the Walk another
remarkable success for Richstone.
